Designing experiences so intuitive, users don't give it a second thought

About Me

My design process:

As a UX/UI and web content designer I start with the user's problem, and I work from there letting research, information architecture, and content decisions shape the story. My favorite part of the process is the IA, where logic meets psychology to organize content for a smooth user experience. I pay close attention to where confusion comes in, and I use hierarchy, language, and layout to create an experience that feels so intuitive, the user thinks nothing of completing the task. I design with a broad range of users in mind by keeping readability, clarity, and accessibility as my foundation.

My experience:

In my current role, I work as an executive assistant while also leading web content updates, coordinating marketing efforts, and preparing teams for yearly ISO audits. Managing that range of responsibilities has sharpened how I collaborate, document, and communicate clearly across stakeholders, constraints, and systems.

Photography has been part of my life for many years, and it has sharpened my eye for detail. Designing print and web ads added a production layer to that, and together they gave me a feel for composition, contrast, and visual storytelling that shapes how I design today.

How I work with others:

While I'm comfortable working independently, I find that collaboration makes the work richer. When more than one point of view is brought into the room, ideas that may never have been thought of start to surface. Each person carries different life experiences, and that shows up while brainstorming in ways that can greatly improve the end product.

How I use AI:

AI has become part of my process, but not as a replacement for design thinking. I use it as a tool to work more efficiently by forming interview questions, running competitor analysis, and synthesizing research into affinity maps and personas. The human elements of empathy, nuance, and judgment, are still at the center of every decision.

AEO is something I've recently added to my WCM toolkit. It focuses on how content is discovered by large language models, and I've been learning about and using it in my current role to get a clearer picture of how our content shows up in AI-driven search results.

Inspiration for my portfolio:

Outside of design, I’m inspired by nature, travel, and photography. Hiking and photography encourage me to slow down and notice details, patterns, and the world around me. That way of observing carries into my design and content work.
